How to get to Check-in at Marcus Garvey Park
Check-in is located at the corner of E 120th Street & Madison Ave
How do I get to Marcus Garvey Park?
Rideshare( Directly to the address), Bus or Train (125th Street Station).
What should I wear?
All registrants should come dressed in comfortable & warm clothing.
Will there be food?
Yes! There will be a Black Restaurant Row of popular NYC food trucks.
What time does the event start?
Participants can start lining up as early as 10:00AM ET. Check-in starts at 11:00AM ET and the Soul Train Line promptly starts at 12:00 PM ET
Am I allowed to leave the event and come back?
We will allow re-entry into the event with verification of credentials (vaccination records & wristband).
Are cameras allowed?
Yes! Non-professional, non-flash, still photography is permitted at most events (disposable, digital, or 35mm cameras with no interchangeable or telephoto lens). Video and audio recording is prohibited. Please note that some shows will have a different camera policy. Camera bags of any size are not permitted as we do not allow bags inside.
Are bags allowed?
Bags, backpacks, purses, totes, clear bags, fanny packs, and camera bags are not allowed. Small clutches and wallets smaller than 5” x 9” x 1” are permitted and are subject to security inspection. Medical and parental bags smaller than 14” x 14” x 6” are required to go through an X-Ray machine security screening. Please see a Guest Services team member on site for direction to the nearest screening entry.
Event Rules & Guidelines
Each participant is required to be fully vaccinated to enter into the event. All participants are asked to verify their vaccination status via CTEH app upon arrival to ensure quick and easy check-in.
Participants that will dance down the Soul Train Line are asked to line up at 11:45 AM ET. Each participate is required to quickly dance down the line with a partner from top to bottom of the line.
